A California Aperitif that will Change your Cocktail if not your Life

Atōst is owned and operated by wife and husband team Cindy and Kyle Pressman. Cindy’s grandparents migrated from Mexico generations ago, and she grew up in the farming community of Ventura, CA. From those extra awesome orchards they use freshly picked oranges, strawberries, rose petals and botanicals which come together to magically make something truly special. And, unlike our old friend Aperol, atōst has no artificial colors to make your spritz that gorgeous ruby-slipper-red, it does the job “au naturel”. So here is your homework: bust out your margarita ingredients and get busy. Try using 1.5oz mezcal or tequila, 1oz atōst, .75oz lime juice, and .5oz agave syrup. Garnish with a lime wedge to fully immerse yourself in the vibe, then go somewhere where you can be seen (porch, stoop, patio?), because the beauty and joy of this drink must be witnessed. Plus you’ll make your neighbors super jelly, which is like real life social media….GO FORTH!
