This is Napa Valley history, the fun way
Shypoke Estate vineyard is located in the north-western corner of the Napa Valley. In 1904, winemaker/owner Peter Heitz’ great grandparents immigrated from Alsace and created bonded winery #130 for the production of fine wines. Five generations later, Peter and Meg Heitz carry the torch forward with wines that are not only singing with a sense of place, but diverge delightfully from the Napa Valley norm, with old vine Charbono, Chenin Blanc, and of course Cabernet Sauvignon. Peter takes a break from his day job as 100 point dropping head winemaker at Turnbull Wine Cellars to…make more wine. That’s the kind of love we are talking about. You will taste it in every glass.
