Agave, water, passion y no más
Tierra y Libertad is a phrase used during the Mexican revolution, which in a short time became hope for people who were fighting for their lands, better jobs and dignity. For Tierra y Libertad, it symbolizes respect for the many people who died to recover a piece of land for their families. Their mission is to produce an Artisinal Tequila with a cultural conscience, additive free, made with respect the land, those who work it, and future generations.
They source blue weber agave from the center of Jalisco, grown to fully maturity under the watchful eye of maestro agavero Rafael Hernandez. It is roasted in a Brick and Masonry Kiln, milled and then fermented in stainless steel with homeade Agave yeast, and well water. No added sugar, just a natural fermentation.
It is then twice distilled in Alembic, with a stainless steel outside and copper inside. Filtered with no adhesives, directly from dilution with well water.
What once was agave and water, is now Tequila.
