Exploring the potential and joy of their corner of SLH one small lot at a time
Wrath produces site-driven Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc from their estate and respected vineyards from their neighbors in and around the Santa Lucia Highlands. They are located at the base of the “corner” of SLH, where the highlands make a curve. Soil type and exposure are very similar to their higher elevation colleagues, just less extreme, making for some unique expressions of the local varietals, with balanced intensity. Owner Michael Thomas is an archeologist by trade, and is deeply connected to the history of humanity. He knows better than most what people have been doing for thousands of years…drinking wine!
