A nod to the Rhône Valley from Paso Robles down to Solvang.
Sans Liege winemaker Curt Schalchlin is equally aligned with the freedoms of the New World and the heritage of the Rhône Valley, and he is careful not to hold too closely to either. Tending fruit in vineyards he adores from Paso Robles down to Solvang, he brings the best of the best to these bottlings. Probably most well known for The Offering, a GMS known for a lovely balance of richness and lift (label image to the right), but he also makes limited amounts of sought after gems. Things like The Pickpocket Grenache, and Cote du Coast, a Viognier driven white Rhône blend that sells out every year. Do check out his other projects, Groundwork. Don’t miss trying these wines!
